Spartan One

Company S-1 was founded in the spring semester of 2006 by Cadet Major Carol Noble and Cadet Captain Justin Hatton as a gender integrated Navy/Marine outfit intended for students with a technical major.

Upperclassmen in S-1 are comprised of the finest cadets from all over the Corps who have volunteered their time and energy to produce what has since become one of the most successful units in the Corps.

The class of 2010 will be the first Spartan class to finish out their entire Corps career, from fish to senior, within Company S-1.

Company S-1 is centered around our core values of knowledge, honor, fraternity, and discipline. We are committed to developing well-rounded cadets that excel academically, physically, and socially throughout their college careers and beyond, whether it be in the military, government, or private sectors.
