About S-1

Our goal is to provide cadets with necessary life skills for a successful future and our purpose is to develop motivated and well-educated leaders of character, prepared to provide values-based leadership and service in the public and private sectors of society. Company S-1 is known to produce highly skilled and well-rounded cadets exemplifying professionalism and excellence.

We strive to improve ourselves both mentally and physically everyday, and while academics are our top priority, we offer an outstanding NROTC program that rivals other military colleges and even the service academies. NROTC at Texas A&M is one of the largest in the United States.

Members of S-1 have gone on to serve in the United States Navy and Marine Corps as JAG attorneys, aviators, submariners, infantry and other high demand jobs in the military and civilian world, as well as being asked to serve as leaders for other outfits in the Corps of Cadets.
